Myanmar offered us many adventures – we share briefly with our friends some snippets – our gasoline and energy runs low but our passion and optimism very high, so enjoy the hours d’oeuvre….
Ruins in Inle Lake that were impossible to visit for locals up to a few years ago since the area was controlled by some guerrillas…In Bagan, we crawled through impossibly old stairs, looking at the ceiling in search for bats, to arrive to broken terraces that gave us breath taking views of the Bagan archaeological area….a sort of Angkor Wat in Myanmar…
2. Carlos spontaneously praying to Buddha in Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon
3. Visiting Pindiya cave, boasting 8094 Buddha images within a limestone cave up in the mountain….incredible…and visited monks living in caves…who took interest on the kids..4. We enjoyed the fertility and life in the lake
5. Some incredible ethnicities we were fortunate enough to meet
6. Tender moments everywhere
7. Spirituality everywhere
